| What is an IP? |
The Internet Protocol address or IP Address is a numerical identifier for a computer (server) attached to the Internet. In the general case without an IP address you will not be able to have Internet access.

| What is a Dedicated IP address ? |
A dedicated IP address is an IP addresses used exclusively by one host (domain/sub-domain) or a group of hosts (domains/sub-domains) with the same owner.

| When do I need a Dedicated IP Address ? |
You need a Dedicated IP address whenever you intend to use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate for a given host (domain/sub-domain). Without a Dedicated IP address you will not be able to install SSL certificate for any of your hosts.

| How to order a Dedicated IP address ? |
1) Click on the Add Services/Upgrades link located on the left side of the control panel under the Upgrades section.
2) Use the drop-down menu next to IP addresses: in order to select the number of IP addresses you wish to add to your account.
Select a payment method and click on the Continue button. You will be redirected to the payment page. Fill in the payment details and place the order. Once the order is processed by our Sales Department (usually matter of minutes) a new icon (named IP Addresses) will appear in the hosting control panel.
Click on the IP Addresses icon in order to request a Dedicated IP address.
Once the IP address is requested you will be able to assign it to any host (domain/sub-domain) using the Sub-Domain manager.

| What is the IP address of my domain/sub-domain ? |
You can see the IP address of any given host (domain/sub-domain) through the Sub-Domain manager.
1) Click on the Sub-Domain Manager
2) Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a table called Subdomain listing. This table provides information for all hosts (domains/sub-domains) and their corresponding IP address.

| All my domains/sub-domains use the same IP address ! Is this normal ? |
Yes, this is absolutely normal. All web-servers have the so called 'Main Shared IP' address, this is the IP address which almost all hosts (domains/sub-domains) share.

| I need to know what is the outgoing IP of requestes coming out of my site ? |
In order to see what is the Outgoing IP address click on :
1) Live Stats
2) Server Information
The IP address is found next to the Default Route / Outgoing Requests IP : row of the Server Information table. Alternatively this IP can be checked from the Sub-Domain Manager - it is printed on the bottom of the page.
